What does a website cost? An honest overview
Why there is no fixed price for websites, which factors drive the cost and how to recognise a fair quote.
Updated 10 June 2026

The honest answer is: it depends. A website is not a finished product off the shelf, it is a solution for a specific goal. A single-page presence for a trades business takes a different effort than a multilingual site with an online shop. That is exactly why you will not find a price list on our site, but an individual quote after a short conversation.
What drives the cost
Three things move the effort the most:
- Scope. How many pages, how many languages, how much custom content. A focused site is finished faster than a large page network.
- Features. A contact form is standard. An online shop, an AI assistant or a booking request need more work and sometimes ongoing costs.
- Content. If text and images are ready, things move faster. When we write text and create images, that is part of the project.
What to look for in a quote
A fair quote is transparent. It states clearly what is included, what costs extra later and who owns the website in the end. Watch three points:
- Do you own the site, or are you tied to one provider?
- What happens after the first year with hosting and maintenance?
- Are privacy and accessibility planned in from the start?
With us the first year of hosting is included, the website belongs to you, and there is no lock-in. You can move to another provider at any time.
Why the investment pays off
A good website works around the clock. It answers questions, captures inquiries and builds trust before the first conversation happens. The right measure is not the price alone, but how many inquiries the site brings over the years.
If you want to know what your specific project costs, we talk it through briefly and you get a clear quote. With no obligation and no hidden costs.
